The Unsung Hero Award (in partnership with the New Jersey School Boards Association) recognizes students who make an incredible impact on their school and community. These students lead with kindness, empathy, resilience, and heart.💙

SHS Seniors in the Somerville Medical Sciences Academy get the opportunity to have real-world experience by shadowing professionals across multiple departments at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Somerville! 🏥

These students go all in with hands-on learning as they explore different medical specialties. They get to complete three unique rotations throughout the school year. 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️🔬
