It is Governor’s Educator of the Year nomination time!! We are happy to be sending you this letter but wonder, how will you choose from all the amazing staff members at VDV!! We need for you to nominate (1) VDV Teacher of the Year (TOY) and (1) VDV Educational Services Professional of the Year (ESPOY). An Educational Services Professional includes our Nurses, Social Worker, Psychologist, Occupational/Physical and Speech Therapists, Instructional Aides, etc. Our teachers and educational services professionals are the basis of our community. Their daily efforts at educating and nurturing our students is inspiring and will pave the way for our students to live out their dreams and goals.
Please take a moment of your time to complete the form (twice), to nominate (1) VDV Teacher of the Year (TOY) and (1) VDV Educational Services Professional of the Year (ESPOY). The deadline to submit your forms is Friday, November 18th, 2022 by 3PM. You can email your completed forms to Susanne Alessio at salessio@somervilleschools.org. If you are unable to send the form via email, you may bring a hardcopy to the VDV main office.
