Yet, we always want to ensure that our students stay safe and have an enjoyable experience while partaking in Halloween and trick-or-treating events. Here are some tips to help you have fun celebrating Halloween responsibly and safely.
1. Costume Safety:
⢠Choose costumes that fit properly to prevent tripping or falling (watch out for capes!)
⢠Use non-toxic makeup instead of masks that can obstruct your vision.
⢠Make sure your costume is made of flame-resistant materials.
2. Reflective Gear:
⢠Wear reflective tape or accessories on your costume to be visible in the dark.
⢠Carry a flashlight or glow sticks to light your way while trick-or-treating.
3. Trick-or-Treating Tips:
⢠Always travel in a group with friends or family.
⢠Stay on well-lit streets and use sidewalks.
⢠Cross streets at designated crosswalks and obey traffic rules.
⢠Avoid cutting through alleys or on other peopleās property.
4. Stranger Danger:
