Somerville High School had 10 students accepted into the CJMEA Regions II Honor Choirs.
400 students auditioned from Somerset, Hunterdon, Monmouth, Mercer, Middlesex, and Union county, with less than half being accepted. This is the 2nd highest level choir for HS aged singers in NJ.
Accepted students will participate in a rigorous two weekend endeavor, with a performance on January 29th at 3pm at Monroe Township High School. They were selected through blind audition and scored on a variety of factors, including tone quality, intonation, and musicality.
