Choralpalooza is an annual celebration among 5 NJ HS Choirs. All choirs got the chance to work with Ben Fankhauser, the original Davey in Newsies on Broadway. The kids could not contain their excitement! He gave some amazing answers when asked about his goals and life as a performer as well as talked about the importance of focusing on the journey and not the destination, and truly living in the moment as a performer.
We ended with a group sing of an arrangement from "You Will Be Found" from Dear Evan Hansen, featuring Ben and some student soloists, Christian Fodor from Somerville! Up next...the Somerville Caroling Festival on December 9th!
