Somerville High School sophomores Ellie Beaugris and Annalena Bohach were invited to attend Congressman Tom Kean’s Jr.’s 2024 Congressional Art Competition Recognition Event on Sunday, May 5th at the Summit Elks Lodge. Each year the Congressman recognizes the incredible artwork created by student-artists in the Seventh Congressional District.
Annalena Bohach’s piece ‘’Never Grow Up’’ received a certificate. Ellie Beaugris’s piece ‘’Fall Sport’’ was announced as the overall winner. Ellie’s art will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol Building for one year.
