Congratulations to the Somerville High School Model United Nations delegation! This weekend the students attended the annual Model United Nations Conference in Hershey, PA. As a delegation, the students received an award for Outstanding Delegation due to their commitment and discipline in completing their assignments and research.
In addition, Ella Mercier was voted to continue her position as Chair of the Press Committee. Daniel Kornspan was awarded for Outstanding First Year Delegate in Environment and Technology. Haruto Takeyama also won the award for Superior Country representing France. Three of our delegates were also awarded the opportunity to attend the Conference on National Affairs due to their excellence at the conference: Katie Curtis, James Meister, and Haruto Takeyama.
